We kicked it off with a trip to a farm to go strawberry picking with the kids, then followed it with a couple of visits to Vovo and Voovoo's new house (while they were moving boxes and things over there with Bobby & Daddy's help), then celebrated Alex's birthday again with everyone on Saturday, followed by another Easter egg hunt, then church on Sunday. We could not have had better weather or better company!! We skipped naps both days, but managed to hang in there enough to have great cousin time. Can't wait to see everyone again!
The kids all LOVED the trip to pick strawberries. Heather and I ended up buying about 5-6 pounds worth of strawberries and we were constantly brainstorming what we could possibly do with that much fruit! Sofia was in awe of the whole thing, especially seeing that many of her favorite fruit.
Even though the kids had Easter egg hunts at the park and at school, we still decided to have another one at our house during our birthday family barbeque party for Alex. The kids had a blast, and Sofia got to have her first taste of selecting her own goodies for her basket. They were all having so much fun together this weekend!
