Time to spill the beans...

well, the news about the little bean that is... ;)

Yes, it's true, Bobby's not the only one in this family welcoming another little bundle of joy!  We have a little nugget of our own currently growing comfortably inside my tummy and due April 18, 2011. :)  We are so excited and feel so blessed!

Welcome to the world Aiden Thomas Bloem

We are beyond excited to welcome little Aiden Thomas to the world!  Our first little nephew on my side, weighing in at 7lbs 9oz and 19.75 inches long.  We will be going to Dallas this weekend to meet the little guy, and can't wait to see how Ava will react to her newest little cousin!

We love you already Aiden!!!

Our little Ava is getting so big!

Ava is now 15 months old, extremely active, speaks her own language (with only a few words that Cliff and I understand), and loves to be funny - as is evident by her new bucket hat that she empties out and sticks on her head with the cutest little smile!

 Her newest favorite song is "Row, row, row your boat...", as she starts off by swaying and saying "row, row, row" then looks to me to finish the rest.  Once we're done singing, she immediately signs for "more". :)  I will get either a video or picture of the sign language soon...too cute for words ;)

Time for a change...

Since we've now moved from our house in the Heights out to the 'burbs, I figure I might as well change the site I use to keep everyone up to date. :)  Well, I was doing pretty well at keeping up Ava's picture website (http://avacurtis.shutterfly.com/) for a while, but there are just so many pictures and so many cute stories!!  Hopefully by starting this blog, it will make it more manageable!

Yes, we have finally moved... we will definitely miss our first home, my first house, the first place we lived when we got married, the first place Ava called home.  But, we are on to bigger and better things, we just needed more space, and now we are closer to the grandparents which is SO nice. :)

9This summer was quite eventful!  We sold Cliff's townhouse, bought our new house, sold our old house, Ava turned one, went to Dallas for Bridgette's first birthday, went to Concan to play in the Frio River, found out we are being blessed with another little one in our family, and so many other milestones in between!  Since there are too many pictures to share, here is a little sampling of our summer :)
