I can't believe my littlest one is already one month old!!! It seems like it was just yesterday that we were flying down the freeway with Sofia more than ready to make her debut in Daddy's truck, and now a month has already passed us by.
It is amazing to see how significant the changes are in that short amount of time! Sofia is staying awake a little more now, showing us her big beautiful brown eyes, and focusing a little more on our faces as we talk to her. She is quickly outgrowing her newborn diapers (I bought 480 newborn size that are supposed to fit babies up to 10 pounds, but I'm not sure we are going to be able to use them all at her speedy growth rate!). I am just about to put away the newborn size clothes, since they are already quite tight on her - most are for babies from 5 - 8 pounds, so she has easily exceeded that weight range...and too "tall" for them too...who would have thought that would be the case for one of my babies!?! We have truly moved on into the 3 month sized clothes.
Ava and Alex love being around her, always want to hold her, love on her, and help doing things for her. We have been blessed with a few smiles already, and can't wait for more! Sofia is a very good, sweet baby, not very demanding at this point, pretty patient, and easy going. We've only had two nights so far of crying, but poor thing had a lot of air bubbles...as soon as those passed, she was back to her peaceful sleep.
We are so blessed to have this little delicious one as part of our family!
