Swimming!!!

Ava has started swim lessons again this summer.  She is enrolled in classes at our neighborhood pool, and has been loving them!  She is surprisingly comfortable this summer, totally taking to her coach, and paying a lot of attention.  After 6 short classes in 3 weeks, she can actually swim briefly on her own!!!  I am amazed at that little one, she really is incredible!!  I can't wait to see what she will do by the end of the summer!

And Alex will not be left behind.  That little guy has no fear, he will put his face in the water, hold his breath, blow bubbles, and just genuinely enjoys the water.  He often plays in the baby pool while Ava is having her swim lesson, and even if he topples over and goes under water for a few seconds, he doesn't seem to mind...we pull him up, he giggles, and goes right back to playing.  I am certain he will do great next year when he starts his lessons!
