Spring Break!!!!

Oh what an awesome week it was!!!  While I feel bad that Heather hurt her back, I am so happy that made their plans change from Colorado to coming in town instead.  The kids were so excited to have their cousins here for a few days, and we sure did make the most of it.

Our plan was to pack in as much fun as the kids could handle.  First up was Bluebell Ice Cream Factory, next the Houston Rodeo and open play at Ava's gymnastics academy, and last the Natural Science museum and butterfly exhibit.  The kids LOVED all of it, and slept really well each night. We really had so much fun! I could not get enough pictures!

Sofia pointing and saying "I-cre?" - she recognized the packaging!

 Smile, please!?!

Five year olds LOVE to make faces!!
This was certainly their favorite part of the tour!

 Sofia enjoyed every last bite!

Rodeo Time!!
Waiting for the "train" (aka lightrail) to go to the Rodeo!

 our little baby chicks :)

Learning how to milk a cow - Ava, Bridgette, Alex, and Aiden are sitting in the middle listening and watching intently!!

 Mamas and their babies ;)

The kids were so excited to go on a pony ride...

...well almost all the kids! Sofia wanted to, that is until she was put on the pony!

Then they chose this "roller coaster" ride that spun really fast, first forwards then backwards. Can you tell they were excited!!!

Sofia and Heather stayed watching on the sidelines - happily! :)

...and of course there would be camels at the rodeo...right?
And there is nothing like a stroll through the oaks on Rice's campus to finish out the trip!

Natural Science museum and butterfly exhibit
 coming soon!

Vovo and Voovoo's house
At the end of the day, there is nothing like going back to Vovo and Voovoo's house to play, have yummy home cooked meals, and get cozy!

 Huge smiles for huge eggs!
